the best I can tell I have a Brovision WH-D5208, I’ve had the system for 10 years ( second dvr). System works fine. seems like once a year the cameras stop working via remote internet was told the router assigns a new address or something ( during my search I learned I should be using VPN regardless). My router is a Netgear Nighthawk X6 R 8000. Last time the camera guy came out I video taped the settings. So I think I’m good there. I’ve checked UPNP apply, refresh, all the things I tried to digest. I can’t seem to get ports to go active. When I reboot the system the screen displays Embedded- Net DVR. Any ideas?
