Alternative to Surveillance Station for Synology?

Hi all,

I'm pretty committed to my Synology NAS for camera storage, but I'm looking to see if there is an alternative to the Surveillance Software application for viewing?

Reason being is that I find SS very clunky. Its user interface is not very intuitive. Plus the DS Cam mobile app is slow and clunky as well. And DS Cam doesn't give a great integration with my doorbell camera.

Is there an easy way to run something else while maintaining storage on the Synology NAS?
