Amazon Workers May Be Watching Your Cloud Cam Home Footage

Teams in India and Romania use video snippets sent by customers for troubleshooting purposes and to train artificial intelligence algorithms.



As far as I can discern 'sent by customers' actually means 'sent by the customer's camera automatically and watched by Amazon employees without the customer's knowledge'.

Does this actually surprise anyone? If you have Amazon products, they are listening and watching constantly. That is what they do, along w/ Google. Anyone using these products from Amazon & Google deserve what they get. Just another reason to stay away from Amazon. Once they have a monopoly on retail, the prices go up significantly. You think your getting a deal in the beginning, then your screwed in the end.
