Hello to all. First post after years of reading and learning. I picked up an I91ET (FCD800) based on a long thread a couple of years ago ( ). Just arrived yday and have been playing around with it to see what it might do. Found a problem trying to change a few settings on the OSD page. While I can change them in the entry fields, those changes are never saved (settings on all other pages save as expected). Specific needs are to change the default "Camera 01" to something more meaningful. Have tried everything I (and chat-gpt) can come up with. Anyone running tn FCD800 have similar problems, or are the camera gods just messing with me?

Firmware Version V5.8.10 build 251113
Encoding: V7.3 build 251015

Thanks!

One of the first things I checked off the list, tried multiple browsers, private windows, etc. The problem is on only one page in the UI configuration. All settings on all other pages can successfully be saved, but none of the changes made in any fields of the OSD page stick. That's why I was hoping other FCD800 users experienced the same thing,

It's not a huge deal breaker, but it's annoying that I can't change Camera 01 to something meaningful. If even I could simply eliminate the overlay and let BI handle it.

Oh well done for trying different browsers. I'm not familiar with BI, so can't assist.
How is the camera connected, to a NVR or just the local LAN?

Right now, just in VLC. Powered through my POE switch, but not yet integrated into BI.

I feel it is most likely a firmware issue. Was hoping to hear from other users if they experienced anything similar.

Try using the real internet explorer, yes it's still there.

Thanks for the input*. Tried IE, still no joy. Will not save any settings from OSD page! Believe it a firmware issue, though not ready to hold my breath doing an update. . .

Will keep IE available for future possible needs.

Anyone else? Anyone else out there even have an FCD800???

(* Been following looney2ns for years, lotsa great input. Thanks again!)
