Annoying new DMSS iOS “feature”

Ugh! The latest iOS DMSS update now pops up this annoying message after watching live view for a short while. @EMPIRETECANDY

I use a spare iPhone as a wireless monitoring station in the kitchen and it has been working well for months.

This is all local network, so why would Dahua care if I want to keep the live view open?

I don’t see any settings to turn this off. Any ideas?

Now I’m even getting the silly new popup message on my regular phone when I go back into the app hours after last being in the app. Results in one more step before being able to use the app again.

Anyone else seeing this on the latest version of DMSS on their iPhone?

Strange, I’m on the latest iPhone fw too and latest DMSS from App Store. If convenient some day, would you be willing to test playing live view (I’m showing 4 cams) for 30-45 minutes or so and seeing if DMSS gives the same popup and stops playing?

Yeah I'll give it a try. Honestly I rarely use it live for more than 10-15 minutes.
I don't view phone apps as a primary source for live video monitoring. Alerts etc, yeah, until I can get to a real screen somewhere.

Yep, makes sense. I use this extra iPhone live view in the kitchen where it isn’t viable to run a line or have a full laptop or monitor. It was working great for months until this new popup
