any issues with BI on a 10980XE?

Other than inefficiencies, should be no issues, right?
I'm currently running BI on a 6950x, even though not a supported processor I had no problem upgrading to windows 11. But as of the last update, I can no longer get updates. Instead of hacking around it, I have an old gaming / content pc sitting in the closet with 10980xe/64gigddr4, and 2x nvidia titan xp's (I know). I was thinking of just ressurecting that -- it's areally nice build, I did a full custom, stainless steel water cooling loop, and the 10980xe is fully supported under win10.

Again, setting aside this isn't the most efficient computer to run BI, any issues with this? I can't imagine any, especially with new substreams.

You don't say how many cams and all but likely way more than you need and should be fine. Maybe pull one or both of the video cards if you're not doing anything with CodeProject.

I'm using 24 cameras, a mix of IPC-B712IR-Z-AI and IPC-HFW71242H-Z -- I am running codeproject for imagerec, but 2x admittedly is both overkill and underkill-- overkill because I don't think it uses both, and underkill because they're titan xps, basically slightly upgraded 1080ti's. I could pull them , but they're integrated into the water loop.. nad I have literally nothing I would do with one anyway if I took it out.

24 x 12MP at high rates maybe not so much overkill. But if it ran on the 6950 should as well or better on the new.
