Any reasons to upgrade firmware from hacked/working 5.2.0?

I've now got in my stable of various Hik models a few 5.2.0 units, which I can only assume
are hacked Chinese versions (CH in serial numbers).

They seem to be working fine (English in UI and day of week OSD), but I'm wondering if
there are any features or bug fixes that would be worth picking up by upgrading, say to 5.2.5?

If so, which of the various firmware threads do i need to follow to go from 5.2.0?

thanx, Paul.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" While I upgraded to 5.3.0 there is absolutely nothing I gained or needed from 5.2.0. It's really only firmware upgrade addiction in me that forces me to keep upgrading. The only feature I really wanted was Chrome support which they still haven't fixed...

Hi Klasipca, I found this link from another thread and there seem to be a fw file with the name chrom....wondering if this adds the support for chrome....You want to try ?

BTW does CH in serials #s confirm that camera is chinese model. I have 2 of 2cd2032 both have CH in their serial #s but came with english fw
