I have several customers with US Cellular, got AI alerts and even Watchdog from Blue Iris trying to send to them and everyone on US Cellular no longer gets any notifications.. I've tried 1(phonenumber)@mms.uscc.net , also (phonenumber)@mms.uscc.net (no 1 in front) , also tried both versions to email.uscc.net and no dice.

Initially I thought maybe it was my emails I had created email addresses from my rectechgp.com domain so then I just tried to log into my gmail and send one from there to my own number (also us cellular) and it didn't work either.

I have told my customers hey the emails still work but maybe it's time to move onto something better for notifications does anyone have any recommendations for some better way to send a notification to a customer when the Code Project AI spots a human on site that is reliable?

It has been happening awhile with every mobile provider and there are many threads started with someone experiencing what you are.

You can confirm that BI and email sent them, so you know it is a mobile provider issue.

Using the test feature, their algorithm knows you pushed a button, but for the automated alerts, they know that was computer generated and are locking those up.

Best is to move to Pushover ($5) app as every mobile provider is tightening their spam algorithm. It may start working again for months, and then just stop. And then work again.

I used to use the SMS method as well, but the pushover app is way better and more immediate and consistent.

You could try another email provider or mobile provider, but it will happen with them as well. All you will have done is kicked the can down the curb using a different email account.

It is this reason why most of us have gone to the Pushover app instead of SMS. More reliable and doesn't require a VPN or portforward to get images with an alert from BI.
