AmCrest (IP 3M-954EW) I am having issues with setting its time. Here in Pacific Time, I set the time to GMT-8, but the timestamp on the camera was off by an hour. I then noticed that there's a setting for enabling DST, and the start and end dates have to be manually entered. There's also a setting for "Sync with NTP Server" which is set for "clock.isc.org" port 123, every 10 minutes. Is there a better way to assure the AmCrest time is set properly, perhaps a better NTP Server? My Unifi G3 camera uses a different time server, but it doesn't specify the port number.
UPDATE: Someone on the forum alerted me to the fact that the Unifi USG router has its own NTP server, so after setting the NTP server to the IP address of the USG, the camera's time is accurate.
