Dahua released a new firmware for those line of cams..

There is missing a release notes, but from presentation about AcuPick 2.0 which Dahua released a one month ago, it turns out that it should be an upgrade with AcuPick 2.0 support.

Last firmware upgrade for WizMind-S (5xxx-S3) cameras showed that Dahua upgraded AcuPick functionality by adding detection of human/vehicle attributes plus separate detection of animals and some new features for IVS.. I found YouTube presentation by some Dahua rep in Kenya about AcuPick 2.0...

I am interested in whether the AcuPick 2.0 functionality has appeared?
And what attributes are collected by the camera in the case of cars with the AcuPick function enabled - does the license plate number and car make appear there?

Does anyone have any camera from this line (7442-X / 7842-X) with 5xxx-EI NVR and could share the changes that appeared after this upgrade?

The fw with AcuPick 2.0 for 7442-X / 7842-X has been released, more or less, an hour ago, on internationl web site (before, was there, but the download wasn't working). Tests in the next days ....

Yes, I see there are release notes with confirmation of AcuPick, animal target filter, long distance mode and self learning IVS capabilities..

So all main new features from WizMind-S were ported to WizMind-X...

Question is about AcuPick attributes... especially car ones, which are very limited in 5xxx-S3..
Does reading car plate numbers and car brands works in AcuPick mode?

The license plate, it's at the ANPR part, this is an important function to this camera.

You can do ANPR on camera (then dedicated ANPR cams like 431 or those universal WizMind-X 7442-X/7842-X cams, which have now 12 different AI modes - some with ANPR).
Or use any external software based ANPR solution, which will analyze / OCR Your video footage 24/7 for car plates..

Interesting. 7x series can do ANPR on 5el NVR or 6xi NVR. That is really cool.

Anyone else have this camera and the 5el NVR series, or the 6xi NVR series? I'm feeling upgrades coming, but a lot depends on the firmware upgrades, etc.. lol
