A friend has a DS-7608NI-SE8P. The hdd management screen shows zero space available. He is getting exceptions and turns the unit off when he is on-site, because it constantly beeps.
When I access the unit remotely -I don't see any options to allow old data to be written over. When I go into the exception screen the HDD Full does not have the "audible alarm" checked, but the HDD Error exception is checked.
The firmware version is V2.3.3, but the manual on the HIK website is for V2.3.9. I'm not sure if that's why the screens I'm seeing have limited options compared to the on-line manual.
Any assistance is appreciated.
