Before we go any further... I know the general feeling about 'Foscam'. And, about Foscam.us that left there previous users high and dry! That's why i switched tio the manufacturer in China, and dealt with them directly when I upgraded to these, FI9829P V2, cameras. They are still at the low-end of the HD cameras being 960p, and I've found them to be exceptional. They have an impressive field of view compared to most 720p cameras. And, the 960p give more image on the top/bottom for a 4:3 camera view.
Anywho.....
The cameras have audio, and using the gui I can hear the cameras mic, and, talk thru the cameras speaker.
However, I cannot figure out how to get audio with BI. The 'Listen/Talk' buttons are always greyed out.
I have sent Foscam.China a message about this, and will update when/if I get an answer.
Does anyone know the 'audio path' settings for this camera?
What I have tried:
- Video find/inspect. This sets the audio path to blank and audio format to '64 kbps G.711 u-law'.
- Enable 'Audio Channel' & 'IP Camera Stream', in Audio tab of camera.
