Long time reader, first time writer here.
I have a Dahua 6AE240VNI running firmware:
DH_SD-Chen-Nova_Eng_N_Stream3_V2.600.0000.3.R.20170717.bin
I have been playing around with Auto-tracking. On this firmware version it is accessed in Setting, PTZ, Function, Intelligence. There is a Enable checkbox on this setting page, and it works fine.
My challenge is that I want to have automated tools that can remotely modify the Enable checkbox.
I looked into the HTTP API documents, but was unable to find a query that returned the status of autotracking enabled or to control it.
I contacted Dahua USA tech support but they were disavow any knowledge of the HTTP API and won't offer support in using the camera's built-in feature.
Short of building some kind of click macro that browses to the web UI and clicks on the checkbox for me, is there some other way to achieve this?
