I have an Axis P1245 Mk III discrete camera that I am using with an Axis T6112 Mk II Microphone kit (the one that comes with the microphone and enclosure). I followed the simple steps in the Axis manual to pair the audio module with the camera, and enable the audio in the video stream. That was simple.
Unfortunately, the audio module acts like there is no microphone plugged in, even after plugging in the provided microphone into the "Audio In" of the module as instructed. Trying a different microphone does not work either. The volume meter in the Axis camera web UI doesn't even show any activity.
I am at a complete loss here. There has to be a setting I'm missing, but I don't know what.
The P1245 camera is currently running firmware version 11.9.65. The settings for the audio module is integrated into the camera's web UI.
Has anyone used this combination before? I had confirmed with Axis Sales that this audio module would work with this camera, so I am obviously confused.
