The current setup is 10 cams all on motion detection recording on a Hikvision NVR and would like to back up 3 months worth of recordings to a NAS. We've set up IVMs and able to back up the cameras one by one to the NAS. I'm currently looking for a way to automate this so that it'd back up all the cameras and store each the recordings in a folder hierarchy such as this..
We could do away with the hierarchy but as it is right now, the naming convention used for the back up is nonsense and there is no way to tell the date/timing range of the records.
Is there a way to do this automatically?
The way it's currently being done we can't back up more than say 2000 records at a time, so we have to back up like a few weeks, then another few weeks etc, which is turning out to be time consuming, especially considering it has to be done for 10 cameras.
Can we also set up a schedule an incremental backup every week?
Any help would be appreciated.
