Hi guys.
I installed a lot of IP cameras. A friend of mine has 5 analog cameras. The wires are already there from his old system.. he wants to stick with analog ones but he wants to have new ones.
I found those from Hikvision:
DS-2CE19U8T-(A)IT3Z
4K Ultra-Low Light Bullet Camera
• 8.29 Megapixel high-performance CMOS
• Ultra-low light
• 3840 × 2160 resolution
• Auto focus, 2.8 mm to 12 mm motorized vari-focal lens
• 120 dB true WDR, 3D DNR
• EXIR 2.0, smart IR, up to 80m IR distance
Can I use those with old analog cables?
Is 4K overkill for analog?
Any suggestions for a good DVR?
I know the main differences between analog and IP. The brain is the DVR etc. anything else I have to keep in mind when I do install analog now?
