Hey all,

I am looking at adding a few indoor cameras (all 2.8mm).. low light is not an issue as it will be lighted by ambient lighting (indoors).

What is the best value for money for suitable turret style cameras? I don't want to spend a whole bunch of $$ especially not for low light cameras as it's not a requirement.

Thank you.

You are from Australia, which is very specific and closed market.
From our knowledge You have available locally limited series of Dahua cams, very often models created only for Australia market (so don't exist in other countries).

Here on the forum most popular and most universal series is Dahua 5442 (54IR).
It has very good sensor, lenses, image processing, powerful SOC/CPU and lots of AI functionality (not only simple SMD/IVS but more advanced AcuPick 2.0 or FULL Video Meta Data with human/faces/cars/plates analysis).
it's available in many variants (chassis, optics, zoom ranges, colors)..

Normally in Dahua distribution this model costs 400-600 USD, but we buy it from Dahua OEM partner for fraction of costs (150-200 USD)..
This is BEST value for money from all Dahua catalog.

If this is too big for You, then are lower lines like 2xxx.
But they have cheap sensor, cheap lenses, cheap plastic chassis and cheap limited SOC/CPU.
No one on this forum will recommend you low-end Dahua models.

ps. if you want order something from this shop, contact by DM to @EMPIRETECANDY

In the US of A, I use Amcrest pan-tilt cameras indoors, specifically this IP4M-1041W model. Hardware manufactured by Dahua, rebranded by Amcrest. Inexpensive, reliable, excellent quality video.
