BI isn't triggering w/ camera motion

So to offload some CPU usage, I am desperately trying to get my camera's motion detection to trigger BI and start recording, but I have had zero luck. I have 16 cameras of varying models, and for the purpose of testing I would like to focus on just my Hikvision Speed dome model DS-2DE4A425IW-DE
I have enabled the motion detection on the camera side as seen in the included screenshot.
On BI I have set the triggering event to be the camera's digital alarm input, as seen in included screenshot number 2.
On the camera side, I can't tell if it is triggering or not, but I have followed the blip in the manual for setting it up.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

When you added the camera to BI did you run 'find and inspect' to ensure BI detects the ONVIF information? When I first added my cameras, I picked the make and model, and it ended up causing me issues.

Review the Alerts tab to see that it is set to fire when triggered and that the ONVIF and external is checked.

Yes, that's my go to method for adding cameras is to let it inspect. But on several occassions while experimenting with the settings to fix this, I have tried to find the make/model of the camera manually to fix.
Attached is the screenshot of the Alerts page. They are checked.

omg I think I figured it out.
Under the video tab > Configure, there is a box to check for "Get ONVIF TRIGGER EVENTS" -_-
I checked that, then realized it was staying triggered, so when under Trigger tab and uncheck the box that seems to have defaulted itself on for "Trigger until reset", and now it seems to be doing the thing!

Thanks for the help!
