I have a cheap CTronics (generic Chinese) PTZ camera.
For 2 years it's been pretty reliable for what it is but lately the sub and main streams are getting out of sync.
There's no pattern to it. Sometimes they're off, other times they match fine. When I live view the camera through the device web page, all is good but I can see the timestamps are different between it and the display on BI.
Because of this, the motion boxes on the BI console are moving but there is nothing on the screen that is moving. A bit later, I can see the action that caused the motion but no motion box around it.
When the camera is triggered, my recording shows nothing moving.
I don't know how or why the streams get back in sync. And I cannot find any real deficiencies with the NVR. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I have only 3 cameras on this NVR.
The machine is an older Lenovo T495 with an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U, 16GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro 23H2. 500GB internal drive, 1 2TB and 1 1TB external usb drives for storage.
CPU averages 28%, memory averages 55-60%. Network utilization consistently under 1%. All on 1GB backbone.
