BI settings on a new IPC-T2431T-AS

Thanks for all the user advice I have found on this site. I picked up a rebranded Dahua from Empiretech and it works great. I set it up using generic settings. Should I be using a drop down specific setup for the camera?

I think most folks here simply type their camera admin username/password into BI, click the Find/Inspect button, and let BI do all of the configuration. This usually ends with the model being set to Generic/ONVIF but the "specifics" being properly configured within BI.
