So Ive been helping a buddy install a camera system over the past few months on weekends when we both can, and we've just about finished. (minus the Barn ptz GOAT cam we hope to have installed next week)
Its a good sized lot and he had asked me to spec out the cameras and placement for him as well as facilitate setup and tuning of everything while he did most of the grunt work running cable

When we were finished deciding on cameras and placement, we had 14 total. He asked what could he do with the 2 empty slots on his 5216-16p NVR?
Well, LPR of course!
So he has a corner lot sorta, 3 acres with a dirt road going down the E side of his property to a home behind him and a great shot in both directions on the rural street out front. What we needed was some way to disguise the (2) 5241E-Z12E Pro AI Starlights.....
"Birdhouse!" I exclaimed... He looked at me kinda weird for a few minutes and then the light bulb went off and he broke out into a big 'ol grin. "Come back next week" he said..
The specifics:
(2) 5241E-Z12E Pro AI bullets
Capture point #1 at 35ft, #2 at 100ft
5216-16P NVR

Attached are some thumbs of Tag capture, using IVS Tripwire using both Human and Vehicle. Running 1/1000 exposure both day and night, 50DNR, Gain 0-50
