I Just Reformat my PC windows 10 completely but before that I deactivate my BLUE IRIS License and Export my setting. Then I Install BI version 5 and use the Upgrade Key Ver 5 which the installer did not accept but once I use the my Original Blue Iris Ver 4 key it accept it. After finishing Installing, the "Blue iris evaluation version" appear in every camera even though I can see my first and last 5 letter/digit combination of my Ver 4 License Key in Blue Iris Settings.. I always Reformat my PC every year I just forgot what I did last year.

The issue may be that you installed the version of Blue Iris that was released on a date AFTER your 1 year maintenance period ended.

Try installing an earlier version, dated before yours ended.

I'm curious...why do you reformat your PC every year? I recall it often helped a slow, buggy XP but that was a LONG time ago and a very different O/S.

To that point... @sydnew, is your BI machine dedicated solely for that purpose, or do you use it for other things?

I agree, winXP became bloated within a year or so and it was worth the effort to perform a fresh install. I experience it with win10 as well. It seems to be more of a 2-3 year cycle, but on daily use machines used for multitude of things.
