Blue Iris able to instantly/realtime playback a camera?

I am new around here and only on BI for about 2 or three months, but I think that is one of the basic features of BI. You can scan the clip alerts or new folder category or any other category of what was recorded and review it quickly. I do it all the time. With my old (LaView) NVR it took time and required an app, now I can perform these tasks via an app or a browser. My wife loves the interface compared to the non pinch-zoomable old school NVR interface that seemed to come from the 90's.
In your case, just set BI to record in 5 to 60 minute clips (the range the Dahua NVR offers, but you are not limited to that in BI) and then you can instantly review that time block. Best part is that you will have all historical time blocks also waiting to be reviewed as well (not sure Dahua NVR offers that)

Yes, the 5.3.9 update in January added this. The instant reply button is to the right of the timeline. You can set the number of seconds in Settings.
