Hello forum members:

Sounds like many of you have not gotten BI to get working on Youtube,

Heres what I know:

You have to enable Audio in BI even if the camera doesnt support audio or have a mic.

Now I am trying to tweak my settings and feel like I have been shooting blindly for months. No help from Youtube.

What are the "Webcast" settings to get a 1080p stream to have to best streaming experience?

I am using:

Flash Media Encoding

Enable is checked
Flash 0
AAC Audio

Stream is rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2
Stream Key: Its good :)

Now I click "Video..." and am using:

Video: H.264 (Greyed out)
Audio: AAC
Quality (%): 65

Limit Bitrate for streaming: Max bit rate (kbps) 4000 - NOTE: I have gigabit FiberTTH.

Frame layout type

Kaximum Keyframe interval (GOP) 40
Maximum B-frames between P-frames 2

Advances
Profile: default
Preset: Ultrafast (CPU is at 67% fwiw)
HLS (Sec) 3

Zero frame latency is UNchecked
Resize output frame UNchecked.

Stream stops for a quick frame and then goes about 5 seconds. Want to improve that if possible.

Camera supports 30FPS, Amcrest IP2M-841EB

Streaming 24/7/365 at Otsego Minnesota Weather Camera - CW5776/KMNELKRI29

Thanks in Advance!

I started to see it work when I set bitrate to 4096. no idea why...

Anyone got this to work?

I tried instructions here (looks like they could be updated):
How to Stream an IP camera to Youtube using Blue Iris – usefulramblings

Blue Iris kept crashing so I reported it and the latest version fixes the Blue Iris crash problem but I still can't get live streaming to work on YouTube. Best I can do is see a green (good) status on YouTube for short amount of time before the stream goes offline.
