I purchased a Foscam FI9826p camera and am mostly happy with this setup and BlueIris software. I'm going to use this as a babycam and may purchase more for other things. My issue is that the web browser seems to be a little slower/jumps when compared to the IPCam Client on the foscam camera itself. Is there a way to lessen this effect when using the BlueIris software?
Setup:
Camera is currently setup with a gig port cat 5 wired connection. I have tried the wireless as well with no difference, but I prefer hardwired.
Gig switches and routers.
Computer with 16 gigs ram and AMD FX 9150 Eight-Core Processor 3.61 GHz (I use this machine for plex also).
It doesn't look like i'm hitting any resource issues. I do have the camera setup to display 960p 30fps 2m, but again, it runs great using the foscam software.
I'm not referring to the recorded video, just the live display. Any help is appreciated.
