Blue Iris Fails to Launch on Win10 VM

I have tried both Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 as VMs. In both cases Blue Iris installs successfully, but then fails to launch with the error {"reason":"account not found"}. There is nothing in either Event Viewer or C:\BlueIris\log, and running with compatability settings doesn't help. Any ideas?

Same here. Reinstalled multiple times and still getting it. I am on Windows 7, testing version 4.4.9.9 as a demo.
 
I emailed the developer to let him know about the problem. In the meantime I suggest you use the older installer I linked above, and then let Blue Iris update after you get it going.
