Hi, I am thinking about getting Blue Iris to connect multiple cameras offsite. I want to set it up so all the homes in my neighborhood so wherever ever you go you will be being filmed. I understand how to do it on my LAN but I am a bit confused about how to get the offsite cameras to work. Thanks in advance.

Easiest way and one which I have done for many, setup a VPN server at the base location then on all the remote sites have a cheap small router running the VPN client.. then your base BlueIris computer will be able to see all these remote cameras. You can get a cheap router that supports OpenVPN and WireGuard clients for about $25
You will also need a Internet connection at each remote site obviously
