Blue Iris Updates Question

On my Blue Iris software we occasionally get a pop up with software updates. You can select what you want then the software will do its thing and restart.
Now, when you make your selection then click OK, nothing happens. The pop up will close and the next day it will be back asking for the same thing.
Why is this?

It takes a few moments for it to download and install, so depending on your computer, that could be 20 seconds or a couple of minutes LOL.

If it asks the next day, then it means an update was pushed out since you last updated.

Unless you want to be a beta tester, simply go into BI and tell it not to notify you of updates and you will never get that pop-up again. I haven't got it in years.

And then watch this forum for the bugs and improvements on new updates and decide if/when you want to update.

Most of us are on older versions. Once we find a version that works for us, we stay there until an improvement is offered that provides something we want or need.

If your Blue Iris version is not changing, then it is possible you could be on one of the very few versions that has broken update functionality and you'd need to download and install an update manually to fix that.
