blue red led is not coming up during siren/alarm

Hi,

I recently bought this camera

PTZ4M-25X-PV​

Currently i am testing this camera. While testing i triggered alarm / bell button in dmss app.

The siren sound is coming but i dont see any blue/red lights in one of my PTZ4M-25X-PV

I tried the same with my another PTZ4M-25X-PV by pressing bell button and i can see both sound and blue/red light

What settings i need to change to fix this. i tried to google but getting very generic answers and not helpful

So I know your system is much nicer and newer then mine I was wondering if you might have a dual button like DMSS does? One for the light and one for the siren? I know in your menus for events there is an area where you can enable one or the other and or both.. So I wonder if there is also 2 buttons for lights and another for siren? Edit, Something to try anyway is add the camera to DMSS and see if you can get it to work in that app? Might be a trigger point that is missing from your app.. I know my Amcrest App for another same type alarm with light camera from them there is a single button that does both and marked as light/siren.. ?

Hi Thankss,

When i tested my first ptz i got the menu same as yours, how ever my other ptz dont have that light icon



I guess i found how to test siren light

login to dmss --> Go to camera settings --> Remote Configurations (under others ) ---> video detection --> Enable motion detection --> Save

Now wave your hand infront of camera --> Now it is screaming with blue/red light

Pressing only bell icon is not triggering the warning light, it just gives sound


I found why light button is missing for me during PTZ test

1 . First time i tested a PTZ same pt

2 .second time i tested non-ptz 180 degree camera [This time i logged out of app and reopened] ---> This camera dont have light option as attached screnshot

3.Tested new PTZ-2 [Not log out of dmss] --> Due to logout issue , i didnt get that light icon

4.Once i logged out of dmss , now for my PTZ i am seeing light button along with bell button


Currently the issue is solved. Entering detailed steps so that next new person dont stuck like me
