Book recommendation

Well, I was confused as to which forum to post this in, but I thought "Accessories" might be the best. I am the kind of person that needs to read to learn, but also learn by doing. I have tried in vain to find a good book that can take me from a beginner's level to a higher level about IP camera systems (IP camera terms, settings, NVR's and settings, installation, etc. etc.) I am beginning to think that this field is a "learn by doing" and reading forums. Is there any book that any member here can recommend in which I can learn and educate my self in the IP CCTV field?

You can read this one for general knowledge, i read the 1st edition and helps with basic, then I would pick a manufacturer/VMS system that you want to work with and go from there.

Once you pick a vendor, many of them have a support section that has many specific things that are beneficial.

I read the Hikvision technical bulletin from time to time.
