Brand New HIK DS-2CD3145F, can't login to change default IP address and more

I recently received this new 4MP cam from an Aliexpress vendor...I can see it in SADPTool and also by connecting it to a PC with an IP address in the proper range. (192.0.0.65). The IP address of this cam is 192.0.0.64 and I can't change the ip in SADPTOOL or log into the cam from 192.0.0.64 because bad password apparently....looks like SADPTOOL shows the firmware as V5.3.3 build 150514.

i am of course using admin, 12345 to login or make changes but not working...

any ideas?

Reset the password, it's a Chinese market cameras. I wouldn't be surprised if the default password is in Chinese rather than using the alphabet.

by the way the image quality is great...we'll see about NV performance. One other thing; blue Iris doesn't like h.265 so I set the cam to h.264 (or I screwed something else up).

How are you getting on with this camera?

I purchased the same model, which I agree displays a great picture. Sadly I cannot remote view via IVMS 4200 via my iPhone, or get it to send e-mail alerts, I can only view via local network.
UK support has a go at setting my system up, but failed due to it having a different firmware, which is too complicated for me to change.
