Been working on a pole mount lately, all input, ideas welcome.

Intended use is street overwatch and LPR duty.
Z12e, color4k bullet 6mm, and an IR blaster are what is intended up there. May swap the 4k bullet for a z4e.
Have High pressure sodium street light to light up the street and currently run the 4k up there on a temporary mount. Works OK with the street lighting.
Z12e will be focused and zoomed for LPR duty.

Tig welded 1/4” plate aluminum.
My intention is to use the cover plates from the pfa121 boxes to mount the cameras. They have a decent gasket and should remain watertight. Plus easy to change cameras if needed.

Very nice, my pole mounted cameras are screwed directly to 60x60 (mm) square pole. Square was similar price to round and I got it in 6m sections. In inches it'll be 2.5 x 2.5 I think.

Edit: I'll probably have to figure something like this out as I'm planning to add more cameras to each pole (I have just 2 on each).

One thing I recommend is to use guy wires if possible if it is longer than a couple of meters. My 6m poles (5m above ground) swing quite a bit in my 160km/h gusts of wind. Surprisingly it doesn't affect the sharpness of the view that much(there is always strong IR Illumination at night), even when zoomed in 30x. But one can get motion sickness by watching it for a while..

This is an actual street light pole, fiberglass and aluminum construction. I have about 6 of these left over from a job a few years ago. Builder overbought and needed them gone before the money guys saw the mistake.

I think it’s a 16 foot pole with about 4 feet buried.
