Cam in, or right under mailbox

Hello, I'm looking to put in place a camera in my mail box, or right under, POE, that I plan to use for LRP (software based).

Any recommendations for that form factor?

I have seen the recommendations, but looking to mount at the mailbox parallel to the road to have the best chance at capturing the plate.

Not a chance with a 3.6mm lens.

Plus you have no idea if you could set the shutter fast enough to capture plates- the cheaper one tend to not allow you to so that or if they do they will override it.

Further those are high MP on a small sensor size so it will be even more difficult.

Your best bet is a varifical turret. Many people have used this one with great success in a mailbox or on the mailbox post.
