Hello all,
With a spike of car break-in, etc.. in the neighborhood, I'm looking for a camera that can be zoomed in hopes to capture occupants within the vehicle.
Yes, tall order, but if I can get captures during the day, I'm hoping (with a lot of light) to be able to get them at night as well.

Depending on how/where I set the camera up, the distance will be anywhere from 70-100 feet. I have an extra 5442 that could be used, but would need to run all new line, etc...

I already have the 4k color for overviews, so can get vehicle color, etc.. already.

Just curious if anyone has something setup already?

That is the tough one. Without a lot, and I mean a lot of light, it is near impossible if the vehicle is moving, not only in color, but even B/W blasted with infrared.

Some have suggested a specific filter that can negate some of the effects of the window, but I haven't seen anyone post a good consistent image at night of occupants.

We have seen an occasional clean image from @tech101 under ideal conditions, but not an every night capture.

But even then, this is a stopped car and the backseat occupant with the window down cannot be made out and the front passenger can barely be seen, but the driver due to going low to look out the window got a clean capture - again not an every night occurrence!

Not many will have more light than this!

Yep, they won't be stopping right in front of my house, at least I hope they won't be.

Though I could put the camera looking towards a T intersection I have, there they do have to at least slow down a bit, but that would be closer to the 90' mark.

Hmmmmm...
