Camera for LPR - cost!

HI,
I need some help. I'm in need of a camera to get LPR. I was looking on aliexpress at a few for under 150.00
Dahua 4mp ip varifocal motorized 2.8 - 12mm. IPC hhfw4431r-z.

small and compact. Please offer some advise because my budget is small.

The IPC hfw4431r-z can be had for about $75-$80 from multiple ebay vendors with USA stock. With bright lighting its higher pixel image is IMO a bit better that the HFW5321E's image. In low lighting situations the 5231E is clearly superior. You got a killer deal on the 5231E, and (again IMO) you will be able to read more plates with it. Physically the 4431r-z is a bit smaller, and the 5231E's base is easier to adjust.
