Hi can check the above pictrure from dahua camera 3.6 lens. How you face this kind of area? This close distance between walls. If i choose a 6mm lens i will lose area from down the camera? Any other solution?

Go into the camera GUI and rotate it digitally.

Corridors/hallways are a pain. Narrow and long space that result in a lot of recorded wall space.

Some cams allow you to physically rotate the lens, or as @wittaj suggested, log in to the camera GUI and rotate it electronically.

Setting up a IP camera in corridor mode allows for the cameras wide lens size to be seen vertically instead of horizontally (it covers more hallway view).

Ok nice but i use tioc camera. Will not interface with the ivs rules that will make or the functionality right?

Should still work with ivs but you'll likely need to redraw your lines.

Yes i know that. I will draw my line after rotate the camerA. But the warm light and alarm light will be up after this not under right? I hope this give me a good image
