Camera not ajdusting to lights condition

I recently set my camera (HDW4431C) exposure to all manual so I can deal with fast moving objects.

However, on most days, the camera isn't properly switching the day/night profile. When I log onto the camera interface, the profile shows to be in the correct time of day (Day/Night) but the image is washed out or too dark.

Most Dahua camera firmware doesn’t automatically switch between profiles based on current light conditions.

If you have a PC that’s always running and is on the same network as the camera, search for the DahuaSunriseSunset tool that an admin here wrote.
 
I'd be damn!! Thanks for pointing that out. I found what you're suggesting and is reading through it now. Supposed I can run this using the same BI server.
 
Does a setting of WDR-1 look any different than No backlight compensation?
