Camera power cycle frequency

How often do you have to power cycle cameras due to hangups, freezing etc?

I'm trying to decide if its worth getting a switch with a management interface that would let me toggle POE power to reset cameras vs an unmanaged one that would require unplugging/replugging

Rarely to never.

I have one problematic camera, so I just set it up for a daily reboot within the camera.

But it would be cheaper to buy a wifi outlet or adapter that you could remotely switch on and off instead of physically plugging/unplugging.

Thanks. I'll just go with dial nic and unmanaged. Unmanaged also has lower power consumption, which is nice for a device running 24/7
