I have an Asus RT-AC1750 router with OpenVPN setup and haven't had any problems viewing remotely. However today I noticed that my feed is very sluggish/choppy.
When viewing from my home wifi where my network is setup it's fine .. the camera runs at ~130 kb/s
However when I view when away from home on OpenVPN its very slow/choppy. running anywhere from 0 kb/s up to 40 kb/s. Prior to this, when viewing remotely I would get ~130 like when I was at home viewing from my wifi.
I only have 1 camera installed right now. My router is running the latest firmware.
I had to reboot my NVR 5216 Sunday because for some reason the unit when offline (couldn't access my feed from my phone until I rebooted -- not sure if this is related or not).
Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix this?
