Can’t Initialize - Unknown Error

I’ve had a DH-SD1A203T-GN for a couple of years now. Suddenly I am no longer able to connect to the camera. I can see the camera is getting power and is ‘on’ (it goes through its motions panning.tilting the camera when applying power), I can see the camera on my network. When I try to navigate to its web page its presenting me with the initialization page. I enter the admin password, and hit save, and nothing happens.

Tried initializing through config tools and I’m presented with the attached image. Is this camera done for or is there a way to recover it?

Have you attempted a hard reset, if possible ?

I have not. I’ll give that a try. Guessing I need to take apart the camera to access the reset button.

Not familiar with that cam.
If there's an exterior door to an SD card, it could be under there.
If not, then likely you'll have to access the inside of the cam.

Yes there was a small door with 2 screws which was to gain access to the sd card. Opened it up and the reset button was right there.
