Hello Everyone,
I am about to install a IPC system in my house and I am limited with the available Hikvision products in my country.
I guess I will pick both of IPCs and NVR with the AcuSense feature.

So, I want to get some DS-2CD2143G2-IU IPCs and a DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S as the NVR unit.
There are 2 different zones with ~40 mt distance to each other: House and the garage.
Because the difficulty of a new cabling, I take using a powerline ethernet adapter into consideration.

Can you please check the draft I shared (link below) and comment if all the system will run theoretically?
(Connecting a PoE switch to NVR's PoE port)

And my other question is: What if someone physically connects to the switch I placed in the garage, can they access the internet through the router in my home?
Do I need to add an extra switch to the house, get a managed switch, or create a VLAN to prevent this? I may not be able to prevent physical access to the switch in the garage...

Your layout should work just fine as long as your ethernet over power adapter's can handle the bandwidth.
Just remember you can still only have as many total cameras as the NVR can support.
If it's a 4 port NVR you can only have a total of 4 cameras.
You couldn't for example have 2 cameras plugged into the NVR and 3 plugged into the switch.

Anything connected to the switch in the garage will only be able to connect to the NVR.
It won't go beyond it to your home network or the internet.

Keep in mind that in many instances plugging a POE switch into the POE port of the NVR won't work. It is hit or miss. Some of the NVRs are designed to only accept one camera per POE port.

The proper way to do it (or if above doesn't work) is to run a POE switch into the WAN/LAN of the NVR and then the internet into that switch.

So in your case, if you cannot connect the POE switch to Port 3, you would then need a switch at the NVR to connect the cameras from the garage POE switch to and then internet to another port and then connect that switch to the WAN/LAN of the NVR. In this case, someone could plug into the POE switch in the garage and access the internet.
