Getting the hang of it
I want to count passing traffic on a busy road to build up some statistics on when traffic is busiest and how many vehicles use the road during each day over the course of a few weeks.
I have at my disposal a Hikvision 7608NI-I2 NVR and a 2CD2385FWD-I camera.
I see that IVMS4200 V3 has a counting and statistics module but it I can't seem to make it work.
I started by setting up Line Crossing detection across the roadway but there appears to be no way to convert the crossing alerts to statistics without doing so manually.
Can anyone provide advice on how I might be able to use the hardware I have to count vehicle traffic using the functions available in the NVR, Camera and IVMS4200?
