Hi,
I have recently upgraded my network to be Ubiquiti. I have a Hikvision NVR (DS-7716NI-E4/16P) and 8 cameras. They are all 4MP DS-2CD2042WD-I cameras. I used to have 6 of them setup directly into NVR and two, that were through a wireless bridge, into the network port of the NVR. Since upgrading the entire network to ubiquiti, including all access ppoints, I can still see all the cameras in ubiquiti and in SADP, and each camera has a fixed IP address, but where I used to be able to go to the IP address of the camera and login to it, I cannot seem to do that anymore. The cameras and the NVR are all on the same vlan. The WAP's are on a different network however. Internet access and multicast is allowed between networks. I have even tried putting one camera on the same network as the access points but i still cannot ip address into them.

Any ideas?

Specifically what component(s) is(are) now Ubiquiti as a result of the "upgrade"?
Model number(s) ?

Did you document the topology/physical connections, IP addresses, etc. of addressable network devices BEFORE the "upgrade"?

Yes, i had the IP addresses before the upgrade and have been able to use the SADP tool to change every camera and NVR IP's address. The NVR can see all of the cameras as well. The main reason is I want to change the camera settings to ONVIF so that Ubiquiti protect can discover them and I can them manage them through there as a result of thei recent 3rd party support feature.

New Setup:
Dream Machine Pro
24 port switch connect to dream machine pro
6 of the cameras connected to 24 port switch (PoE)
2 cameras connected to a ubquiti switch using PoE, which is then connected to a U6+ access point which uplinks to a ubiquiti 6 AC-LR, which is then connected to the 24 port switch.
All cameras can be seen in NVR.
All cameras can be seen in SADP
All cameras can be seen in Ubiquiti Network App
The cameras and NVR are on a separate VLAN to the ubiquiti network devices, which in tunr or are on a separate network to the default.
All VLAN's have default settings, not isolated and no firewall policy setups restricitng networks.

I wan to see the camersas on a web browser so i can login and change settings when I need to, without physically going to the NVR and changing the settings of the cameras there. And not all settings for the cameras are available through NVR interface.

Sounds like you must have some inter vlan blocking turned on (which is good).
But if you want to be able to access your cameras without having to change vlans on your laptop, you can just add a firewall rule to allow that traffic.
Allow traffic from your default vlan (or whichever vlan your laptop is on) to your camera vlan.

I like using this guide as a reference.
