Hi, I have a 7608NI-I2/8P and the hikvision 2CD2385FWD-I cameras.
On the camera, I can define different motion detection areas when I login into the CCTV itself under "Basic Event" - Motion Detection - Expert.
For instance the CCTV in front of the garage I have area 1 set as the overall parking area in front of the garage and area 2 set as the area near the mailbox. Area 1 and 2 do not overlap each other.
I have 2 questions:
1. The hikvision NVR does not seem to know that the motion detection areas of the CCTV has been broken down into multiple "areas". How do I achieve this?
2. How do I assign the NVR/CCTV to send an email only when say only the movement to area 2 is detected and not when area 1 is detected. The NVR/CCTV appears to only send 1 x email notification based on "any" of the areas are triggered by motion.
