I would greatly appreciate it if someone with the level of expertise could share their settings with me for Dahua 5442. Below are my settings which haven't been changed in years and I have forgotten everything I once knew about the subject. At the moment I dont have BI set up for Sub Stream, version 5.3 I came from was before subs existed. By error I mean the little yellow triangle warning on the header of the camera image in BI on the right side of the camera name and also shows up in Camera Settings > General

Here's my normal 5442 settings. 8192 minumum but I run 10240
Now I dont know what BI can handle so you may need to reduce bitrate or FPS for that? Someone with more knowledge of BI could tell you

You made a big jump and lots of additional analytics have been added.

Some may or may not be showing an actual issue.

The yellow triangle is a warning, but are you seeing any effects in live or recorded video?

Maybe even if you don't use substreams, BI is reading the settings for the analytics.

Most here run the following on the 5542 (and make it match main and sub):

H264 or H264H
15 FPS
15 iframes
8192 bitrate (512 for sub)
CBR

Or it could now be detecting a network bottleneck somewhere with the new analytics that the version you were on didn't have.

its most likely because you don't have matching settings for the Main and substream.
Both main and substream should be:
15fps
CBR
H264H
Iframe should match the FPS.

Read the update notes in the help file.
