Hi All -- Happy Holidays!! So-appreciate all the advice I've found on this forum! Any advice on getting this set up is appreciated
Short-term Goal: simple/affordable/permanent Live Stream of chicken coop at school so there can be unlimited simultaneous viewers
Longer-term Goal: ability to add 1-2 more cameras and add fun overlays to prompt donations (some version of this is what I'm going for)
Constraints: have 120V power, but no internet/wifi
What I've done so far:
Next: trying to figure out how to best connect/configure this RTMP capable camera directly to YouTube
Questions:
Thank you in advance with any thoughts!!! The children and chickens THANK YOU!

What I've done so far:
- I have new T-mobile 5G home Internet in place (tested with impressive 600 down and 65 up) - starting with 130GB/mo plan at $25
- connected it to unmanaged PoE+ switch
- purchased this Dahua from Andy at EmpireTech (IPC-T54IR-AS-S3 1/1.8" w. 2.8mm lens for max wide angle)
Next: trying to figure out how to best connect/configure this RTMP capable camera directly to YouTube
Questions:
- is it best bet to get cam initially configured via PC (including YT stream)?
- if ultimately I want to use something like OBS, should I just begin install with Rasberry Pi running OBS or similar in first place?
Thank you in advance with any thoughts!!! The children and chickens THANK YOU!
