As stated, completely new at the tech of security cameras. My first venture is 3 Uniview wireless cube cameras. (C1L-2WN-G) I'm just looking to start with a couple indoor wifi cams that I can view through an app. Easy right? Nope.

Using the app (EZView) the cameras should connect to my network when prompted and good to go. they don't. For some reason when they would typically join my network they create their own network. Since I can't seem to get them to see my wifi I can't go into any kind of live view.
Here is what I get when I try to add the camera

It wants to join a network that doesn't exist. The IPcam creates a network that matches the serial number of the camera. My network is firehouse9,

I end up with this

I've watched videos, read and re-read the written instructions, reset the cameras, tried two cameras thinking the first one was just a tech glitch, yet they won't connect.
Is the EZView app garbage? would the Blue Iris be better? They are BI compatible.
Also not sure if this is the place for a tech Q not really an installation. Please guide me.
Thanks

Throwing in the towel. I don't know if it's the settings on my phone or these are impossible to use. They will not connect after trying multiple times with multiple resets.

I always end up in the same place, "failed to add device"

Thanks for the help but these are going back.

try a different phone or a tablet to setup. Wifi cam setup can be finicky
