New to BI and trying to config the BI web server.
What I have done so far;
It looks like the external port is not really open base upon the last external port test in pic 931 so I dont know how to proceed now. The BI manual was helpful to a point and then I got bogged down in some of the complex settings/examples.
What did I not do right? Since I would like to have remote view via my laptop, tablet and android phone I figured I would need to use Stunnel but could not get that to work either.
Any help would be appreciated.
What I have done so far;
- I went and port forwarded (IP passthrough) ports 81 and 443 in my ATT BGW320-500 router. 443 in case I wanted to use Stunnel which I could not get to work either.
- Computer ethernet set to static IP. ( I use avast pro and it has a VPN in it. I tried to connect to BI web server via browser with it on and off and made no diff and also turned off VPN and still no diff)
- Allowed Blueiris.exe, BlueIrisAdmin.exe, BlueirisToaster.exe thru AVAST firewall.
- I started the setup wizard in BI web server and went thru the screens until the last one ...."final test on your network and routing to ensure external port is visable" which failed.
- I can open web server in a browser from that screen in Pic 205.
