Hi all,
I've currently installed a camera system on a crane system which is all locally connected through an ethernet switch to cameras. So Hikvision NVR LAN port to ethernet switch which then goes off to Hikvision cameras. Very simple and works fine.
However, I've been asked now if we can also put these cameras onto our main network to be able to view them remotely. My question is how can I achieve this? Could I connect the NVR LAN and connect that to the LAN port of the ethernet switch to view cameras then connect the Poe port on ethernet switch into our PLC network or would I have to do this another way?
Also can the NVR and an external software system ask for the same I.P addresses of these cameras? I'd be thinking that there would be an issue in doing this.
Thanks in advance!
Connor
