Connecting NVR to Smart TV (for live view/playback) via Local Network (not LAN cable)

Seasons greetings to all.

I was wondering whether there is a way to use a Smart TV, via a local/home network, as a monitor for Live View and Playback rather than purchasing a dedicated monitor and using a LAN cable?

I've a predicament: I can't easily run a LAN cable from my NVR to any of my Smart TV's without the cable being on the surface of a wall and looking ugly, even with trunking. The NVR and Smart TV's are on the same (home/local) network. I could purchase a monitor and site it near to the NVR and run a LAN cable to this, but the monitor wouldn't be easily accessible due to the location of the NVR.

I'm hoping there is a relatively simple solution and respectfully seek your guidance/advice.

What is the make and model of TV's?

I ask because depending on the TV's O/S (Operating System) there may be an app that can be loaded on the TV that can view as a browser the NVR's webGUI OR view the NVR's video stream using RTSP.

For instance, my Sony is a Google TV with an Android O/S and Tinycam can be loaded that will stream RTSP. I have not tried it but it's likely ONVIER will do so also.

Most NVR's can stream individual cameras using a main URL from the NVR with a channel number in the URL for each individual camera.

Also keep in mind some Recorders also that as stated before with channel # you can pick 0 at times to view all the channels in a Grid like looking at your NVRs GUI in 16ch mode seeing all 16ch using channel 0..

Links to suggested and/or recommended products?
Sorry Tony, I’ve always been able to either get hdmi or Ethernet extensions to clients TVs. But I’ve got one that was an upgrade with it that after a few years is still going strong. I think like everything you have to spend the money on the good stuff; few hundred dollar mark. I’ll be out there next week and post what he has.

Thank you all for your speedy replies, very much appreciated.

The Smart TV I would like to connect to wirelessly, to view live stream/playback, from the NVR is a Samsung TV so I think this is Tizen (Samsung) OS - it's a fairly new TV. In hindsight, I should have run a 'spare' HDMI cable to this TV when I was having work done on my house, but I didn't as too much going on at the time re building work and I forgot!

Annoyingly, the NVR is less than 5M away from the TV, but no way to run a HDMI cable to it. C'est la vie
